The GAMM Activity Group's 2024 annual workshop, "Analysis of Partial Differential Equations," will be held at our institute from September 16 to 19, 2024. On Wednesday, June 21, in the Great Hall of the Carolinum, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, presented appointment decrees to newly appointed professors. Martin Kružík, Head of the MTR Department, was appointed Professor in the field of Mathematics – Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Mathematics.

The department of Decision-Making Theory organizes a Mini-Symposium on secret sharing. The event offers three exceptional speakers: Carles Padro, Laszlo Csirmaz, and Mate Gyarmati.
