Since 2017 researcher at the Institute of Information Theory and Automation (ÚTIA), Czech Academy of Sciences; previously postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA, and research associate at the University of Cologne, Germany. Habilitation (Priv.-Doz.) in Mathematics from the University of Cologne and Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Mathematics from the University of Augsburg, Germany.
